At nearby Lake Altus-Lugert, using our fishing slabs, we’ve caught Hybrids, Sand Bass, Walleye, Crappie, Channel, and Blue Cats. Looking for any kind of a bite on a slow day? Ever tie into a big one and tell your fishing buddy you need the net only to haul up a big ole Drum or Carp? Been there, done that! Want to have some real fun? Go ahead and net it. Make sure it’s in the bottom of the net and twisted around real good then hand the net to your buddy. Just don’t try this if it’s your boat.

Something you won’t find on any other fishing slab page: Have an idea for a particular paint design for your own custom slab? Contact Lone Wolf Custom Slab Company and we’ll make some up for you. We offer three basic slab designs: Casting Spoon, Shad Shape and the new Flutter Jig. We’d be more than happy to customize a paint scheme for you. If we can do it, you’ll have it soon. We use Eagle Claw hooks on our slabs. If you’re partial to a different size or brand, let us know and we’ll customize your slabs for you, your way.

Well Guys, Dolls, and Young’uns, its official: Reggie over at Reggie’s Country Store is the official records keeper of the Lake Record Fish Program for Altus-Lugert Lake for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.
What’s that? It’s the new record keeping program where new records are established on an individual lake basis. Visit the Lake Record Program for details. The minimum weight requirements on the qualifying species to have your fish entered as the new lake record are (copied from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Lake Record Program):

If you catch a fish that meets or exceeds these weights and someone else has already recorded a larger one go ahead and take it by Reggie’s for an official weight and photo.
Our Support -- A Competition of Our Own!
To help get things kicked off, Reggie’s Country Store and Lone Wolf Custom Slab Company have teamed up for a contest. All you have to do is catch your fish on a Lone Wolf Custom Slab Company slab and take it by Reggie’s for weigh-in. Who knows, if your fish weighs enough maybe you’ll be the first entry on the Lake Records Program!
There is no entry fee and this contest is open to everyone! There are no minimum weights to enter your fish in this contest. There will be 3 winners over the next two months. Winners will receive a $10 gift certificate good for any purchase at Reggie’s and a matching set of your choice of Lone Wolf Custom Slab Company’s slabs. (Matching set is one of each size of the style you choose.)
The contest is specific by fish species. July is for Hybrid and Sand Bass, August is for Walleye and Hybrid. There will be 1 winner for July, 1 winner for August and 1 overall winner for the largest fish overall. Stop by Reggie’s Country Store for detailed rules and GOOD LUCK! LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!
